Sherlock's Occupational Testing Services is the only occupational testing service on Vancouver Island that can offer all testing in one place. These include pulmonary function testing, industrial audiometric (hearing test) testing, nurse medicals, and drug testing for oral, urine, and hair and paternity DNA collection. We also have a call out service that is available 24/7 for post accidents as well as for reasonable suspicion.

We specialize in alcohol & drug testing, DNA testing, hearing tests, spirometry, nurse medicals. We also provide 24-hour service, emergency service, and same day service.
Lab Testing
For a lab-based test, the collected specimen (urine, hair, nail and oral fluid) is sent to a laboratory testing. There will be a Nanogram count provided once results return from the lab. Usually the turnaround time on this process is 2-3 days.
Drug Testing
Drug testing is designed to detect the presence of illegal drugs as well as some prescription drugs. Drug testing is a prevention method toward a safe and drugfree workplace.
DNA Testing
A DNA paternity test uses DNA, usually taken from a cheek swab, to determine whether a man is the child's biological father. Deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, is the genetic material you inherit from your mother and father.
